Fort Myers Florida Family Vacation

I had such a magnificent time spending a week with my family in my old home of Fort Myers, Florida to meet my grandmother and aunts who live down there.

My family came out from Tacoma, Seattle, Colorado, and Wisconsin. We haven't seen in each in years so it was so wonderful to see everyone and live together for a week in a gorgeous rental home on the water. Meeting my cousin's kids for the first time was great. Such sweethearts. I loved having my boyfriend meet my family. My grandmother is as witty and fun as ever. It was nice being on Sanibel Island with her, where she lived for over 30 years.

Things I remember loving the most: cooking for each other, Rob & I BBQ-ing for everyone, swimming, hot tubbing and sunbathing every day, catching up, going to mini golf together, Cincinnati chili, doing karaoke in front of a crowd in a smoky sports bar & watching the Lawrence Welk Show with my Gommi.

One of the highlights of the trip was when we headed to the Everglades. Holding a baby alligator and 2-year-old alligator was SO NUTS! The airboat ride was super fun and different.

Below are my favorite photographs I took during our trip. So many happy memories I'll cherish for years!

Alex Rees - Fashion Blogger - Olympic Sculpture Park

So happy to have met and taken photographs of miss Alex Rees. She just moved to Seattle after graduating college in England. During her travels around the States and the world, she decided to start a fashion blog.

I'm super honored to be the first person to ever photograph her professionally + take photographs for her blog. We shot 3 separate looks for her blog at the Olympic Sculpture Park. I love her polished and refined style. I had such a blast talking about British culture with her during the session! AHHHH I can't wait to go to England :)

I would love to start working with more fashion bloggers. Seattle blogger babes, hit me up!

Megan Elizabeth Morris - Mom Coach - Personal Branding

Had a lovely time creating some personal branding images for Megan, a transformation coach for moms! :)  After having her son, Megan realized how important it was for her to not lose herself in the role of being a mom. She wanted to continue to pursue her emotional and spiritual goals. After spending a lot of time learning how to be a better mom & wife, she wants to share her journey and insight with other mom's who feel like they may have lost their way.

Megan's makeup and hair was done by the fantastic Sophia Hutch. We had her portrait session in Pioneer Square, starting at the waterfall park and then heading over to Cherry Street Coffee and the awesome brick walls and ivy around there.

It was so fun to have a fellow Harry Potter nerd as a client. Megan borrowed my beloved super worn copy of 'Goblet of Fire' for some of the shots at the cafe!

Perosnal branding is such a fun thing to do and I love to see my clients really let their beauty and boss lady soul shine!
