Kathleen - Senior Portraits - Seattle Waterfront

Kathleen is a soon to be Marketing major graduate of Seattle University. She's originally from Singapore and was active in different activities, honor society and her sorority.

We had a blast shooting on the waterfront by the Ferris wheel in downtown Seattle. It was a mega busy Saturday night with a lot of prom going teenagers hanging about, but Kathleen was super patient with the portrait process and me doing crazy poses to crop people out as I was photographing her :) Really need to have someone do a behind the scenes of me working with my clients because I can look pretty dang cray with my squats and stance.

Kathleen has great style and was wearing some awesome rings and opal hoop earrings I was seriously envious of! She did glam sunset inspired eye makeup on herself too which went amazing with our sunset on the waterfront vibe.

Have an amazing time with your family on your graduation trip around Europe! You deserve it lovely lady! x

Kelly - Photographer Personal Branding - Downtown Seattle

Kelly Lynn was in town from Indiana and reached out to me to create some beautiful new branding portraits for her photography business! It was so wonderful to work with another photographer for a change!

We did her session at her hotel, at the Downtown Library and a lil' bit of a walk over to a hotel that has awesome lighting. Kelly has been in the industry for 15+ years. Kelly is a stunning woman, a wife and a momma of 2 pre-teens (LIKE WHAAAT?). Besides running her photography business, she also helps to maintain their family's 20 horses and works with her daughter on competing in national riding competitions.

After her session, we chatted for a good hour at Starbucks about working in the photography industry, how it differs between Seattle and Indianapolis, referrals, relationships, women in business, networking groups etc. She has such an entrepreneurial spirit and a super kind heart. I really admire her drive and ambition with her business. It was fun getting to know her and I sincerely hope we meet up again next time she's in town next year.

Gabby - Senior Portraits - King St. Station / Pioneer Square

Had a wonderful time getting to hang out with my senior Gabby. It was such a crisp, beautiful end of winter / early Spring day to capture her senior portraits. We went with a glam meets chill city vibe for her shoot because that's exactly who Gabby is. A girl who loves fashion & dressing up, but also loves a relaxed, chill time with friends and cozy clothing. Gabby is thinking of doing something with fashion in College (potentially in Cali). Gabby is friends with my past senior Rosa. They both are finishing their senior year at Seattle Preparatory School.

While she was getting her makeup & hair done, I kept thinking "OMG she looks like a baby Britney Spears!"... AMIRITE? Gabby looked stunning and so freakin' adorable in her outfit choices I helped her pick. She got two pairs of new shoes for the sessions which thankfully turned out perfect and fit great. I love that she accessorized with her favorite earrings (hoops) and some fun geometric rhinestone ones for the second look.

We headed to King Street Station with its gorgeous white walls, high ceilings, ornate crown molding, pretty light fixtures and lovely marble tiles. After we wandered over to one of my go-to coffee shops for a modern look to my sessions, the Cherry Street Public House. Absolutely love the interiors and light in there! After a little coffee pick me up, we finished off her session we some VERY Seattle shots of her loungin' in her boss lady look.

Cheers to you Gabby & your bright future, girly!
